Presentation of Latvian author Svens Kuzmins’ novel “Dizažio”

A meeting with Latvian writer Svens Kuzmins will include a presentation of his novel “Disažio”, which won the prestigious Latvian Literature Prize in 2022 as the best prose book of the year.

At the center of the story is a young entrepreneur who has everything, yet feels the emptiness of life. In search of meaning, he embarks on extreme adventures and risky experiences, turning his life into a radical art experiment. The novel unfolds in Riga and in a fictional seaside resort, where the stories of many colorful characters intertwine. It is a work about the search for boundaries between art and life, about the exchange and loss of values.

The event will be held in Latvian with translation into Lithuanian.
