n this year’s literary and cultural almanac “Baltija”, Assoc. Prof. Dr Marijus Šidlauskas shares insights into the poetic worlds of Gintaras and Dovydas Grajauskas; readers encounter choreographer Agnija Šeiko’s Japan, the work of independent animation filmmaker Rūta Edelstein, paintings by Eglė Simonavičiūtė, and Rimantas Šileika’s letters to Eglė Karnauskaitė; Kristupas Neniškis makes his poetry debut. An article about publisher and journalist Johanas Ferdinandas Kelkis (1801–1877) recalls notable figures of Lithuania Minor. And these are only a few of the themes brought into focus by the 2026 edition of “Baltija”.
