Rock music is one of the reasons why we now live in a free country.
In a discussion with experienced musicians and performers Algirdas Kaušpėdas, Lukas Devita, Vilius Ančeris and journalist Rūta Paitianwill seek answers to the following questions: what were the sources of inspiration that determined the development of rock culture in Lithuania before and after the independence period?
Did the Baltic rock bands copy each other, or did they not strive for similarity?
What united the Baltic rock scene?
Participants will share their insights and experiences in order to reveal how rock music and literature have helped shape our cultural identity.
