Danguolė Ruškienė

Art historian, holding a bachelor’s degree in art history from Vytautas Magnus University and a master’s degree in cultural management and policy from the UNESCO Department at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since 2006, she has been actively writing about art processes, having published more than 200 articles in cultural press, catalogues, and albums, as well as editing publications and curating exhibitions. She has been a member of the Lithuanian Photographers’ Association since 2009 (a board member since 2020), and also belongs to the “Creators’ Union” association and the Lithuanian Artists’ Association. She has been granted the status of Art Creator, received several individual scholarships, and in 2023 was awarded the Skirmantas Valiulis Prize for her work in the field of photography and for promoting the creativity of coastal authors.
