Culture has always reflected free thought and has therefore often become a target of censorship. Literature is particularly vulnerable to restrictions because words have the power to shape thought and raise questions.Even today, books are removed from libraries or school curricula, while artists, fearing public reaction or condemnation, may begin to limit their own expression. What forms of censorship does the cultural sector face today?
